water spots on black paint

Water Spots

Water spots are traces of minerals, salts, acids, or other contamination that have been dissolved in water. When this water naturally air dries onto the paint or glass of your car, these contaminants can embed themselves into your clear coat. Some specialized vinegar-based solutions can help break down the mineral deposits to remove the water spots, but in other cases, the water spots will need to be polished (buffed out) to remove them. depending on the condition of your clear coat, it may be too dangerous to polish out water spots if your clear coat is heavily worn down.

You can fill out the specialty appointment form below if you'd like to inquire about water spot removal treatment.

Note: We may not be able to accept every inquiry for water spot removal if the water spots are excessive.
